SkillStorm is seeking a Java Developer for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• We are looking for a highly motivated individual contributor with hands-on Java/Java Script programming background and an excitement for solving complex problems. Key responsibilities of the role will include developing solutions and processes for delivering features based on their knowledge of design/architectural patterns and Agile/DevOps practices. This role ensures the systems design and requirements are aligned to achieve the desired business outcomes, and that team practices and coding/quality principles are aligned to achieve the desired technology outcomes.

Required Skills:

• Java Development : 5+ years of experience - Core Java, J2EE-Spring 5, Hibernate, Sprint MVC/Batch
• GIT/Bitbucket or Subversion
• Working in Weblogic server, performance tuning, ETL processes, Windows and Linux environments
• RDBMS Experience : Strong querying and PL/SQL experience in multiple database platforms is preferred: Oracle, SQL Server
• Object-oriented programming
• JavaScript, CSS, REACT, Angular 5, NodeJS

Desired Skills:

• Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, and Artifactory
• Experience in Agile Development Methodology
