Java Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Java Developer for our client in Pennington, New Jersey OR Charlotte, North Carolina. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

• Java Developer
• Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Employee Experience Technology environment. Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs as well as support activities for the corporate systems architecture. Following established written procedures, guidelines and techniques, develops, enhances, tests, supports, maintains, and debugs software applications that support business units or support functions. Individual contributor role; fully competent to work under general direction on the most complex projects, often on multiple phases, and seeks guidance and direction from more senior associates or manager, as needed. Working knowledge of business or function for which application is designed. Often responsible for the completion of a phase of a project. Provides guidance and checks the work of less experienced associates.
• 5-7 years of applicable experience required. Liferay development experience is preferred.

Candidate Must Have:

• 10+ years of experience in Java application development end to end.
• Strong core java skills including multi-threading, collections API, knowledge of Java profiling tools.
• Experience in using frameworks like Hibernate, spring, spring boot, Angular and React
• Strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills
• Exceptional intelligence and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
