SkillStorm is seeking a Java Developer for our client in Charlotte, North Carolina. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.
Position is for an Java developer with Angular, React, and Appian experience who will be responsible for software development, integration, customization, and support. The individual will be working with other members of an agile team and will be responsible for new development. Team members are expected to work closely with analysts and the line of business to understand new requirements and to deliver. Take requirements and break them into work units in order to deliver Java/J2EE and Appian solution in the context of a larger application
Requires proven track record in Java, J2EE-Spring 5, Java scripting, Angular 5, React, NodeJS, Hibernate, Sprint MVC/Batch, Weblogic, performance tuning, ETL processes, Windows and Linux environments, and Appian. Strong Experience in multiple database platforms is preferred: Oracle, SQL Server. Hadoop, Exadata experience is desired and Tableau experience will be a plus.
Hands-on development on Appian (18x/19x/20x) BPM applications, including SAIL code, is preferred. Good understanding of Appian Objects such as Records, Sites, Actions, Security, Expression Rules, Constants, Query Rules, Web API, Interface Rules, CDTs, Process Models. Constants, Decisions, Integrations, Connected Systems, Data Stores, Groups, etc.
Code, configure, debug, unit test, integration test and document application enhancements
Support the development of user guides for new projects and enhancements
Analyze, debug and revise existing application logic difficulties and update documentation as necessary
Assist database developers, quality assurance team, business analysts in ways to ensure data integrity, consistency, security and privacy
Adhere to organizational policies, standards and best practices in application development, documentation, and maintenance that support the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) following Agile iterative development approach
