Java Back End Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Java Back End Developer for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Position Summary:

• Development of Online Banking application and java based backend system. Need to be involved in technical triages and good in resolving the issue with partnering with other team members

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Experience developing web applications using J2EE technologies and frameworks like Spring
• Familiar with Splunk, Toad, SOAP UI tool
• Good interpersonal communication skills for tech and business conversations
• Good analytical skills to break down requirements, solve complex problems

Desired Skills / Qualifications:

• Experience working on high volume applications
• Experience in server side frameworks like Spring MVC
• Experience building restful web services
• Experience in performance tuning with good understanding JVM internals
• Background in mathematics or statistics
• Proven task management and leadership skills
• Experience working in agile teams
