IVR Developer (Closed)

Our customer is seeking a IVR Developer.


Responsibilities:

Design,  develop and test IVR applications on Avaya/Nortel Periphonics MPS platform utilizing a full systems development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology
  • Utilize MPS Developer (PeriProducer) programming environment to develop and support existing and new IVR applications
  • Interact with vendors and Internal business units as part of support activities and new project Implementation schedules
  • Production support of the IVR applications and systems on an as required basis
  • Complete projects deliverables within set timelines and quality standards
  • Document technical documents


    • Qualifications:

    5+ years progressive experience/responsibilities in the area of design, development, technical documentation and support of IVR applications on Avaya/Nortel Periphonics MPS  platform
  • Experience with large scale IVR implementations
  • Must have a solid understanding of systems development life cycle
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to format and manipulate data based on user requirements
  • Must  have experience  integrating IVR with various back-end systems, databases, telephony interfaces, mainframe environments and use of Web services
  • Experience with Speech Recognition in English and Spanish
  • Text-to-Speech development
  • Experience in procedural SQL
  • Power-user knowledge of Unix/Solaria2+  years  of  current  experience in  the  use  of Empirix  testing  tools  (e.g.  OneSight, Hammer, etc.)
  • IVR application development
  • Experience with Avaya/Nortel Periphonics MPS 500 IVR platform
  • Experience  with outbound applications Strong customer service skills with a team focus
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with some development language (C# DotNet, Java or PowerBuilder)
  • Good time management skills the ability to problem solve with some management guidance
  • A college degree or an equivalent of 10 years of development experience
  • Strong skills required for Microsoft Office software Including MS Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
