IT Security Specialist V (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Network Automation Product Owner for our client in Jersey City, New Jersey. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

• Part of a cross functional team responsible for delivering client’s network automation strategy. The product owner is a member of the Network Automation leadership team, providing support and direction to the team working on the product(s) they own. They take requirements from clients, determine technical strategy of the product, address technical debt and bugs, and prioritise competing tasks for the team. They work closely with the scrum master of the team sizing the work, grooming the backlog and allocating it to the sprints based on the priorities of the team.

Expectations include:

• Use of Agile and providing leadership in various agile ceremonies (Scrums, Retrospectives, Sprint Planning, Program Planning & Backlog Grooming) using JIRA & Confluence
• 10+ years of experience in the network domain designing, building and operating large IP networks with experience in domains such as
• WAN networks: Circuits / QoS / Traffic Analysis / MPLS / Segment Routing & BGP / Routing Policy
• Data Centre Fabrics: / BGP / OSPF / VXLAN / NVGRE
• Security: IPSEC / VPNs / Firewalls / IPS / IDS / ADCs
• IP Addressing: IPv4 / IPV6 / Summarisation & Aggregation / Address Policy
• Experience of software development
• Scripting: Python / Perl / Shell Scripting
• Source Code Management: GIT / Subversion
• Testing: Unit / Functional / Integration / Performance / Security
• CICD PIpelines & Tools: Jenkins / Ansible
• Good understanding of Application Management
• Auto build / test / deployment
• Security Integration: Active Directory / LDAP / OAuth / Public Key Infrastructure and Certificates
• Logging: Splunk & ELK
• Demonstrable leadership skills in design of platforms, planning & delivering projects
• Good communication skills to facilitate priorities and tasks to all involved parties such as the team, stakeholders, scrum master and senior management
• Good Familiarity with software architecture:
• API design & architecture
• DB deployment strategies
• High Availability architecture
• Micro service / Mesh architectures
