SkillStorm is seeking a Network Engineer for our client in Richmond, Virginia. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

• Network Operations organization is seeking an experienced Network Engineer, who is a subject matter expert in Network technologies. This position will work to ensure network stability on a day-to-day basis through triage, monitoring, and architecture design. The candidate should have experience with networking technologies, monitoring tools and experience in writing software for automation. Engineer will action on events, incidents, and triage bridges providing technical troubleshooting capabilities as needed, and demonstrates a wide awareness of various network technologies.

Skills:

• 5 years’ experience with Network technologies, be an SME in 1 or more technologies, such as router/switches, Firewall, Proxy, DDI, Load Balancing, AAA.
• 3 years’ experience with software engineering/development – preferred not required
• Experience with debugging complex networking problems
• Highly Seasoned Profession 5+ Years
