Description:

• IT Program Manager V - Senior Program Manager Global Markets Reference Data Technology seeks a Senior Program Manager who will own all aspects of program management for Client Reference Data. The ideal candidate must have strong execution skills as well as ability to set and promote strategy across various facets of the business and technology organizations. Must be technical with an ability to provide technical guidance and make proper technical decisions. Must have interpersonal skills with a proven track record of interacting with different groups and various levels of a large organization. Must be a strategic thinker who can focus on process improvement at the enterprise level.
• Responsibilities include significant input into the definition of the operating model, and business practices across Global Markets and subsequently implementing the rollout of the strategic model across various teams using strategic reference data platforms. Works closely with senior business managers, stakeholders and leadership technology to ensure we establish, implement, and adopt new program management standards and processes. Manages the expectations and demands of a multi-faceted business, and multiple stakeholders, whilst delivering improved service across Client Reference Data.
• Will lead a direct team of technologists and business analysts whose main focus will be to implement the new integrated and optimized onboarding process using the strategic platforms. This leadership role will require close collaboration with functional leads and with business leads across front office, sales, and operations groups. Will be responsible for the day to day direction of resources globally as well as performance management.
• Good overall knowledge of Global Markets and associated processes within Reference Data. A delivery focused mindset. Exceptional organizational, planning and management skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain global and regional relationships at all levels of the organization. Good business and operational knowledge. Strong client facing and leadership skills with the capability to develop integrated solutions. Driven high energy characteristics necessary to support the needs of the business. Solid and broad experience of working at a senior level with large multi-project and multi-stakeholder programs in large financial organization.

Must Have:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven track record of running a technical team
• Financial Services experience
• Exposure to regulatory requirements is a plus
• This is a senior program management role, which involves managing development teams located
• 10+ years overall experience required, 5+ years’ experience in organization/program management
• Financial securities knowledge and experience required.
• Strong leadership skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills and enjoys a collaborative environment.
• Flexible, self-starter, fast-learner – willing and able to quickly learn new technologies and skills.
• Experience with enhancing and maintaining mission-critical software in a fast-paced environment is required.
