IT Program Manager V (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Product Owner for our client in Charlotte, North Carolina. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

 

Description:

Product Owner

  • Accountable for the overall program planning, design, execution, and implementation of complex technologies including an end to end workflow technology supporting 4000+ users globally and a multi-year deployment strategy. This will include assessing, measuring, and prioritizing business and operational processes to accelerate transformation to digital ways of working and deploying technology solutions to automate processes for treasury client servicing, fulfilment, and operations. Engage with business partners to analyze, implement and update processes by utilizing sound process improvement models and techniques. Lead a variety of activities in partnership with Technology, including launching/expanding new technology solutions, systems integration, operational efficiency/workflow improvements, and process reengineering. Accountable for the achievement of breakthrough productivity, customer satisfaction and continuous process improvements.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Thorough working knowledge of business process. Create and own the development roadmap and product backlog. Drives the PI/Release objectives via prioritized deliverables and epics (features / requirements). Establishes acceptance criteria, descriptions and partners with testing teams to establish end to end testing responsibilities. Accountable for getting business stakeholder engagement and sign off of execution / delivery for all delivered scope.

 

Required Skills:

  • Agile certification (PO/PM) with minimum 2 - 5 years of experience leading large tech development programs
  • Previous roles leading teams through large scale change; preferably through digital initiatives
  • Minimum of 6 -10 years of experience working with business operations, process reengineering/improvement, project management, analytics, and/or business transformation with a track record for delivering quantifiable business results
  • Responsible for analyzing present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation
  • Identifies, develops and executes strategies and supporting tactics to engage and influence all stakeholders to make needed behavioral changes
  • Rigorously manages prioritization of scope with Technology partners to ensure agreed/approved/appropriate value is delivered and commitments are achieved within time, cost, and quality parameters
  • Drives the development of business requirements to satisfy business case objectives, customer and employee impact assessments, and communications
  • Strong independent leadership and critical thinking skills with the ability to lead large cross-functional work groups with minimal oversight including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Analyzing data, operational models and process maps
  • Strong presentation development skills including the ability to distill many data points and processes into concise summaries with detailed illustrations and examples
  • Working across a wide variety of businesses and interacting with subject matter experts and executives with the ability to build senior level relationships and influence
  • Excellent verbal and communications skills. Provide clear, concise direction to the broader team while delivering comprehensive status to senior executives or project champions
  • Takes initiative to identify, initiate and implement business improvement opportunities and drives work independently with a problem-solving mindset and sense of urgency
  • Relationship / partnership building and stakeholder management
  • Avid learner comfortable navigating new situations
  • Skilled at managing high degrees of complexity

  • Experience with Pega BPM or CLM solutions
