IT Business Analyst V (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Business Analyst for our client in Charlotte, North Carolina. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

• Drive compliance with he Client’s Global Change Policy
• Define, plan and execute change management plans for the SALMT applications that are releasing each week
• Measure and monitor release progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and in compliance with Change Standards
• Manage relationships and coordinate work with different teams
• Communicate all key release dates to impacted stakeholders
• Support training efforts to educate teams on change management best practice
• Drives improvement in change management process efficiency and tooling
• Positively overcomes resistance to change
• Evaluates the impact on release schedules due to enterprise deployment freezes and other events
• Proactively identifies risks and develops risk mitigation tactics and strategies
• Provide guidance on setting up Horizon CI/CD pipelines
• Controlling/writing Ansible playbooks
• Provide input into automation and tooling
• Works with architects and senior engineers to modernize our infrastructure using emerging technologies such as containers and cloud

Requirements:

• Need to be confident to manage multiple release at one time
• Strong negotiator and facilitator, with excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage detailed release plans
• Ability to engage, build and sustain effective relationships
