IT Business Analyst V (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Product Owner for our client in Jersey City, New Jersey. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

  • Product Owner: Dashboard and AI/ML Models
  • As a Senior Product Owner to drive adoption of telemetry, dashboards and AI/ML solutions across Network Services. You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with product design, user experience and engineering to define product release requirements. You will work with Network Analytics and Telemetry leadership to define the implementation strategy for productionalization and adoption of new product or services highlighting it's key benefits. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product and service offering, working with Network Operations, Command Center and key customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining the product/service delivery plan and calendar based on product requirements, application expertise, and knowledge of Development resources and constraints
  • Monitoring product adoption and customer satisfaction and pro-actively taking actions to bolster and improve both.
  • Developing and implementing a productionalization and adoption of new product or services plan, working with all departments to execute.
  • Managing the consolidation of deliverables, in addition to the product delivery plan. Deliverables include the software, documentation, beta program, and training materials
  • Educating internal departments on the business purposes behind the features of the product, both in advance of and upon product delivery
  • 3+ years' experience executing Agile projects in large, complex environments.
  • 2+ years' experience in coaching, mentoring and training new Agile/Scrum teams.
  • 5+ years in a project delivery role (technical role preferred)
  • Experience with multiple cycles of building, launching and servicing products.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business related field.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Deep understanding of Agile values, principles, and practices (Scrum and Kanban).
  • Hands on experience in Scrum & Kanban.
  • Knowledgeable in DevOps practices
  • Ability to adapt to change to meet business demands, and manage time effectively
  • Adaptive coaching style and the ability to work hands-on with teams in an advisor role with the ability to adapt based on the agile readiness of the team.
  • Good business judgment with the ability to be decisive with available information
  • Ability to work independent and team environment, and able to organize and operate cross-functional in many departments
  • Strong organization and analytical thinking skills, with a track record of turning complex business needs into user scenarios, flows, and diagrams.
  • Able to grasp technical concepts and convey them in a simple, friendly manner
  • Drive for continuous learning.
  • 3+ years' experience executing Agile projects in large, complex environments.
  • 2+ years' experience in coaching, mentoring and training new Agile/Scrum teams.
  • 5+ years in a project delivery role (technical role preferred)
