IT Business Analyst IV (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Business Event Analyst for our client in Charlotte, North Carolina. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Position Summary:

• A Business Event Analyst participates in design, development and implementation of customer activity event tracking within our Digital Banking applications. Needs to understand and articulate business requirements into technical specifications. Will work with internal business, development and reporting teams, external vendors, and data warehouse personnel to ensure data is captured and stored properly. Participates in environment support and software release activities; provides data quality testing and defect analysis. Possesses strong analytical skills; provides reporting knowledge and capabilities. Will be required to triage data issues in data warehouse.

Required Skills:

• Intermediate skill level of querying on Teradata data warehouse platform
• Expert level experience in Microsoft Office Tools: Outlook, Skype, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills:

• Experience working in project teams, both co-located and virtual
• Experience with Agile Methodology tools, such as JIRA
• Knowledge of Web Analytics and Business Intelligence solutions
