SkillStorm is seeking a Data Manager for our client in Charlotte, North Carolina. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

• Acts as the Data Management owner of Deposits as related to Basel III, Forecasting & Modeling, Quantitative Analyst and Deposits Pricing workstreams.
• Identifies and manages data gaps issues related to deposits records.
• Liaise with Balance Sheet Management (BSM), Global Liquidity Management (GLM), and Project Management (PM) and Tech team and other Data Management analysts to understand and solve existing data sourcing gaps.
• Responsible for instituting and maintaining validation and reconciliation controls applied to unencumbered securities.
• Responsible for testing and approving migrations and other system enhancements impacting cash and unencumbered securities.
• Liaison responsibility with source system providers of deposits. Will include senior level management communication across multiple technology and operations teams.
• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years bank experience, or other control environment, experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be creative, and be able to balance multiple priorities simultaneously
• Detail and deadline oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, project management & organization skills
• Functional knowledge and experience in writing SQL code against multiple database platforms
• Ability to work independently

Must Have Qualifications:

• Strong SQL skillset; Able to work with Oracle Platform, Teradata and TOAD
• Candidates MUST have experience with securities data.
• Strong SQL, Oracle, Teradata and TOAD (Tableau “nice to have”)
