SkillStorm is seeking an Informatica / ETL Developer for our client in Jersey City, NJ. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.
Job Description:
- Over 10 years of IT experience with ability to work in multi technology project
- Works with IT staff, business, FLUs through design, coding and implementation of onboarding data source files providing clarifications and data quality as necessary.
- Strong Development experience of ETL development and ETL architecture using Informatica, and understanding and building the flat file/Fixed file structures
- Strong Oracle Database technical knowledge in building general SQL and PL/SQL, stored procedures, cursors, triggers, performance tuning etc.
- Strong UNIX Shell scripting, experience working with Red Hat Linux, creation of Autosys jobs, and build Oracle reports
- Strong hands-on experience in ETL solution design and creation of design specifications to implement changes
- Perform Functional and technical impact analysis of potential changes to the clients ETL environment
- Hands on using and configuring Informatica tools -Source Analyzer, Power center Designer, Power Center Repository Manager, Power Center Workflow Manager, Power Center Workflow Monitor
- Perform Data analysis, data mapping, data loading, and data validation using informatica and oracle, and implement data controls
- Provide L3 support and guidance to production support team on production instances, run book, control plan, and source related audit/data requests
- Support other ETL developers, providing mentoring, technical assistance, troubleshooting and alternative development solutions
- Should be able to design, develop, create mapping, and support application solutions with focus on Informatica architecture.
- Should be able to propose best practices and opt for changes in the upgraded versions of Informatica tool
