GUI Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a GUI Developer for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Experienced GUI developer in the GTS Analytics Team for the digital transformation program within Global Banking Technology. The scope of projects include Analytics, Data Extraction, Descriptive, Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics. Build solutions and infrastructure to support visualizations for analyzing loan data for Global Banking Business lines. Develop value-added interfaces for data extraction solutions that support revenue generation, business insight, risk management, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, loan pricing, pre and post-sale loan facility research. These solutions must overcome issues of complex data (e.g., VLDB, multi-structured, "big data", etc.) as well as deployment of advanced visualization techniques to support document classification, text mining, and statistical analysis to deliver insights. Adopt Global Banking and Markets and Enterprise Level best practices in the firm and contribute to improving proficiency in these areas for Global Banking WC, and the firm more generally. Work with the team during project intake and execution of solutions related to high ROI applications of analytics. Manage and code on projects. Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred or substantial equivalent experience. Web development experience including AngularJS, React, HTML5 is essential. Typically requires a minimum of 3-5+ years as a practitioner of web software development.

Required Skills

• Modern JavaScript, React, Redux, HTML5, CSS, HTTP/REST; Deep understanding of complex, responsive, modern Web UI development, Jboss app server development preferably in Java Software Engineer II
• UI Development ( HTML/CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, extJS, GWT, etc)
• Understanding of application servers, Jboss, Apache or similar
• Ability to work in an integrated team with UI/UX designers and implement designs
• Agile process experience with SAFE is a plus.
