SkillStorm is seeking an Operations Support Specialist for our client in Toronto, ON. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• This position will be responsible for supporting Client's National Association, Canada Branch (BANA) & Merrill Lynch Canada Inc. (MLCI) Treasury; specifically cash settlement, funding, FX and BA/TD settlement. Close interaction with Trading, Sales, and other Operational support groups will be required.
• Provide transaction support for treasury to reduce risk and timing delays on cash payments & FX. Provide settlement support of BA's, time deposits and collateral trades. Timely bank breaks & investigations. Perform functions such as: bank reconciliations, setup and authorization of banks for various business lines, trade check out, adjustments and settlement resolution. Analyze trade processing opportunities for improved STP. Proactively manage breaks, trading and departmental inquiries, as well as improving overall relationships.
• Experience in reconciliations, payments and transactions processing. Product knowledge related to time deposits, FX, BA’s. Two to three years Brokerage or Banking experience. Post-Secondary education completed. Canadian Security course, as asset. Knowledge of banking systems (Swift, GBS, other payment tools)
