Full Stack .NET Developer (Closed)
SkillStorm is seeking a Full Stack .NET Developer for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.
Job Description:
- Full stack .NET developer who has strong C# skills and SQL server background. Seeking .net developers with strong coding and debugging skills and able to understand the existing code, automate unit/integration testing, and highly productive in a fast paced Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Works independently to develop complex .NET software components using C#
- Will be analyzing the production issues reported and debug the existing code and find the root causes.
- Needs ability to work on complex large scale SQL queries and stored procedures maintained in SQL server databases.
- Has experience on working with .NET WCF webservices, REST APIs.
- Able to understand and modify the business rules in ILOG rules for .net.
- Ability to make changes in the existing C# code and SQL stored procedures is required
- Consults with team architects and development leads regarding code architecture and design
- Writes unit test methods to be able to perform unit testing on the code being developed.
- Develops unit and integration tests for automated code coverage of components developed
- Runs explain plans to ensure query optimization
- Performs manual unit testing when automation is not available
- Documents and conducts code reviews of all code changes prior to user acceptance testing
- Participates in and contributes to Agile ceremonies
Primary Skill:
- .Net Core
Required Skills:
- 5+ years .NET development experience required
- 2+ years Agile experience required (Scaled Agile certification preferred)
- Required experience: C#, SQL server queries and stored Procedures, .NET WCF services and Windows applications, REST Services, Entity Framework
- Preferred experience: Infragistics thick client apps using C#, WinForms, IBM ILOG, security features like Oauth authentication techniques
- Working experience in code repositories like Bitbucket, Subversion and utilizing DevOps tools like Jenkins, Ansible for code builds and deployments.
- Proficiency in JIRA and agile methodology and experience working in a scrum or Kanban teams.
- Ability to work on multiple deliverables simultaneously, adhere to tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
- Experience working on large scale enterprise systems
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in remotely located teams with onshore/offshore team members.
