Full Stack Java Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years hands-on full stack development experience
  • 5+ years hands on experience developing client-side SPA applications using JavaScript frameworks
  • 5+ years hands on experiencing developing RESTful APIs using Java and Spring or Spring Boot
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience working with relational databases
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience delivering application solutions utilizing MongoDB
  • Proficient in navigation and operation with RHEL or other Linux based operating systems
  • Demonstrable understanding of container-based application design
  • Understanding of Microservice Architecture
  • Solid understanding of Agile development methodology and SCRUM
  • Ability to provide guidance and direction to junior and mid-level engineers
  • Ability to prepare solution designs and POCs.
  • Ability to clearly communication and demonstrate solutions to leadership and business partners.

Desired Skills:

  • Full stack development using Express, React and Nodejs (MERN) a big plus
  • Experience working with JIRA APIs and JQL a big plus
  • Hands on experience with Angular and Typescript
  • Hands on experience with Red Hat Openshift container platform
  • Experience with JPA & Hibernate
  • Experience with Oracle
  • Experience with Git, Maven, npm, Jenkins, Jira
  • Understanding of 12 factor application methodology
  • Experience developing and testing for WCAG AA and AAA standards
  • Experience with Kafka & Camunda a bonus
