Full Stack Java Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer for our client in Charlotte, NC OR Boston, MA OR Atlanta, GA OR Tampa, FL. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Full-stack application development including requirements/story refinement, development, bug fixes, unit testing, functional verification, peer reviewing, demonstrating to partners, continuous integration & deployment, testing & production support, ancillary functions like reporting & data processing within a scrum or kanban team.

Required:

• 5+ years of maintainable application design & development in Java technologies for corporate environments
• 3+ years of working with application frameworks, design patterns, & testing frameworks
• Solid communication skills & ability to converse with analysts, testers, & others responsible for system integration interfaces
• Collaborates well with other developers on best practices & larger work efforts
• Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Batch on JBoss. Or Spring Boot
• Eclipse or IntelliJ IDE, Maven, JUnit
• Webapp UI development experience: HTML5, Javascript, CSS
• Multiple system integration protocol exposure: especially SOAP or RESTful web services, file exchange, MQ/JMS messaging
• Hibernate & SQL

Desired:

• Financial services experience, particularly consumer banking related to core account & customer data systems, including transaction balancing, posting, & reconciliation. Scrum team participation and experience completing sprint commitments. Angular or other SPA-enabled javascript frameworks for web UI development. Comfort with command line interfaces especially Linux. Familiarity with Splunk for log file aggregation.
