Launch your software career with a company built to do exactly that.

SkillStorm develops technology talent for Fortune 100 enterprises and U.S. government agencies. You'll start with 12 weeks of paid, hands-on training on real team-based projects, then deploy directly to an enterprise or government client, effective day one. You don't pay for this program; it's a paid role from the start, with a clear path from "qualified" to "deployed professional."

We're looking for people early in their technical careers, including recent graduates, career changers with a technical foundation, and transitioning service members and veterans. If you have the fundamentals and the drive, and you want a structured way into enterprise software work, this is built for you.

Are you qualified? You likely are if you have the following:

    • A bachelor's degree in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or similar)
    • At least 1 year of technical work experience

You'll also need a working knowledge of programming fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, databases and SQL, and software development in an object-oriented language like Java or C#.

Every applicant who meets one of those paths gets an individual review for fit. Not sure if you qualify? Apply anyway. That's our decision to make, so don't rule yourself out.

What makes a strong fit:

    • Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills
    • Clear written and verbal communication with teammates and stakeholders
    • Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance
    • Willingness to relocate for client placement
    • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on SkillStorm's W2 (no C2C arrangements)

Veterans and transitioning service members: Structured training, a clear mission, clearance-eligible work, and relocation support. This model fits the way you already operate, and we actively want you in this pipeline.

What you'll do once deployed:

    • Build and enhance applications using your client's languages, frameworks, and tools
    • Write clean, efficient, well-structured code that meets professional standards
    • Troubleshoot and fix defects, and provide technical support and resolution
    • Take part in code reviews, both giving and receiving constructive feedback
    • Work with stakeholders to turn business requirements into technical specifications
    • Support testing and production deployment, and maintain technical documentation
    • Stay current on industry tools and techniques through ongoing training

Why people choose SkillStorm:

    • Competitive salary: a paid role from day one, not training you pay for
    • Enterprise-grade technology training and certifications
    • Work with Fortune 100 companies and government agencies
    • Health, vision, dental, and life insurance, plus a 401(k)
    • Ongoing mentorship and support through training and placement
