Emerging Technology Engineer / Architect (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Emerging Technology Engineer / Architect for our client in Pennington, NJ. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

• We are seeking an Emerging Technology Engineer / Architect to support various innovation activities such as prototype development, technology evaluations, sandbox management, and operational support. The candidate should be a quick learner & able to deliver projects with a customer obsession mindset.
• The position requires strong hands-on skills that include expertise in several Programming Languages, Linux, Scripting, Container technologies, AI/ML, DevOps, etc.

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years hands-on experience in application development and operating environments including Linux/Windows Server, Java, Python, Oracle/SQL Server, Web UI, JBoss/Tomcat/Apache Webserver/WebLogic.
• 3-5 years of hands-on DevOps experience for the following functions (tools): Version Control (GIT/Bitbucket), Build Orchestration (Jenkins), Code Quality (SonarQube and Unit Testing frameworks), Artifact Management (Artifactory), and Deployment (Ansible).
• 1-3 years of application development experience in an agile environment, with working knowledge of Java/.Net, Python, PHP, Angular/React, Node.js & database technologies like Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, Redis, HBase, Cassandra.
• Hands-on experience with container technologies like Docker, Openshift. Some experience with Python, Jupyter, and AI/ML technologies would be an added advantage.

• BE or higher
