DevOps Engineer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a DevOps Engineer for our client in Addison, TX OR Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• DevOps and integrate services in large-scale distributed enterprise infrastructures (cloud, etc.). The role requires software integration and deployment experience. The role requires the ability to maintain and integrate applications using BladeLogic and Ansible.
• Must have good organization skills in order to coordinate its integration activities on many servers. Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing efficiently. Enjoy working with mature and new technologies (open source, etc.).
• Working in a fast-paced, evolving, growing and dynamic environment. Excellent collaborator with strong communication skills.

Required Skills:

• Full Stack (end-to-end) development experience needed.
• The experience with gathering requirements and ability to quickly pick up new technology concepts.
• Experience contributing to and coordinating software development projects.
• Experience working devops environments and tools (JIRA, Bit Bucket, Git, Jenkins, and Ansible Tower).
• Ability to work independently and within a distributed global team.
• Self-starter with good communication skills.

Desired Skills:

• Ability to learn mature and emerging data transformation tools including ability to write programming logic.
• Experience with Application Management including coordinating work across diverse teams.
• DevOps Knowledge of BladeLogic and experience with secure file transfer tools (SFTP and Connect Direct) and network technologies load balancing.
• Working knowledge of Oracle and MS SQL Server.
• Working knowledge of Java, Mulesoft and C# using .NET and shell scripting.
• Windows/Linux application administration.
