Delivery Lead (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Delivery Lead for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

  • Manages projects limited in scope to LOB products, processes or functions although some may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications. Serves as secondary contact to senior department managers for critical change initiatives and provides assistance to staff. Partners with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change. Accountable for initiatives limited in scope to department products, processes or functions although some may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications. Accountable for analyzing present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation. Plans, organizes, monitors and controls projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion. Develop and socialize potential risk mitigation strategies. Effectively communicates with managers, peers and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed. Partners with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change. Responsible for financial forecasting and project documents. Strong project management skills including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Typically 8+ plus years of project management support experience.
  • Position is for an experienced project manager in the LATAM region working on projects that span both regulatory and business enablement portfolios. Projects in this program are in Mexico and require a keen focus to detail, flexibility, and the ability to execute in a complex environment.
  • 8+ years of End-2-End Project Management experience
  • 5+ years Project Management experience in Client
  • Capable of facing off with senior regional executives in Mexico
  • International experience
  • Fluent in spanish and proficient in English as second language

  • Responsible for end-to-end delivery of multiple related material projects.
  • Manages, leads and direct the work efforts of resources that may be functionally aligned as part of the project or projects.
  • Responsible for end-to-end integration of various work streams in order to deliver the intended project solution.
  • Accountable to ensure that all applicable Enterprise standards, Enterprise procedures and any FLU/CF procedures are followed for the project and documentation meets Enterprise and line of business requirements
  • Document and maintain complex business models, should interact with all departments and should participate on business definition meetings

  • PMP Certified.
  • Solid knowledge of software development life cycle (Agile and Waterfall).
  • Previous experience in banking segment handling complex projects.

  • Project management experience: planning, scheduling, project communication, issue resolution
  • Experience in planning project deliverables and roadmap in close collaboration with product owners
  • Ability to coordinate across developers, vendors, and business users
  • Experience in issue resolution across multiple locations and businesses
  • Demonstrated skill in client relationship management and ability to manage, direct and command respect from technical and delivery team members
  • Self-motivated, pro-active individual, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to drive a project from concept to delivery.
