DataStage Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a DataStage Developer for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Experience with other IIS Product components like Information Analyzer, Information Governance Catalog, ISD and most preferably DataStage
• Strong experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting DataStage jobs, adhering to ETL best practices and issue resolution.
• Strong hands-on platform administration expertise and should have lead shared services platforms with multi tenancy

The Role May Include:

• Process creation & standardization, prioritizing & planning activities/deliverables,
• Suggest/recommend the teams on Installation and configuration of the Software,
• Coordinate/Plan & Execution activities related to platform maintenance, Disaster Recovery and Software release management –
• L3+ escalation for Platform Issue resolution, troubleshooting and root cause analysis –
• Configuration and tuning of production and lower-level environments –
• Perform Capacity & Stability monitoring - Assist with Platform metrics collection and reporting –
• Contribute to definition, review, documentation & communication of standards and Best Practices
