SkillStorm is seeking a Database Developer for our client in Charlotte, NC OR Plano, TX OR Richmond, VA. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Database Developer to help deliver new features and enhancements to our business intelligence dashboards, portal & AI Solutions.

Required Skills:

• Must have excellent analytical skills and a track record of working closely with business partners to elicit requirements, document process flows, identify risks and mitigation and participate in definition of strategies for the technical solution -Proven Project Management / Lead Development and Technical Analyst skills and track record of solution delivery -Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills for all interactions with Business and Technology partners. -Experienced with gathering user requirements and analyzing technical documentation -Ability to communicate and work with Developers to ensure that acceptance criteria for the user stories are understood and applied -Ability to communicate and work with Testers to ensure that test plans and scripts satisfy the requirements -Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to facilitate discussions -Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills -Ability to analyze existing capabilities and identify gaps and opportunities -Ideally experience in business intelligence and reporting solution delivery -Must be comfortable in an eclipse based development environment -Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines -Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices.

Desired Skills:

• Full Stack Developer with hands on experience in UI Development using Angular v7-10 and backend development leveraging Core Java, Java EE/J2EE, JPA /Hibernate, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JMS/MQ, and JUNIT. Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript / Bootstrap / jQuery / ReactJS / Typescript / ECMAScript 6 / Node JS / NPM. Ability to design, implement and evolve REST APIs. . Unit Test, Jasmine Karma, Grunt and TDD Expertise in Source code management using Git/ BitBucket, build automation using Jenkins, Ant, Maven, JIRA, SonarQube. Familiar with tools like JIRA / Jenkins, Visual studio Code Knowledge of Oracle and MySQL DB. Understanding of Message Brokers: Kafka / RabbitMQ / ActiveMQ / JMS Understanding of automated QA testing. Knowledge of Redhat Ansible a huge plus.
