Database Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a DBA for our client in Jersey City, NJ OR Charlotte, NC OR Richardson, TX. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Develop tools, automations and self-healing to improve the operational consistency, reliability and scalability of our global database infrastructure; reducing toil and increasing efficiency
• Collaborate with our Design, Build and Operate DBA teams to achieve the above across all lines of business
• Drive standardization of processes and approaches across all DBA teams
• Clearly document what you develop for both easy end user understanding and ongoing support of the code
• Involvement with incident management and response
• Identify sources of instability in distributed systems and drive operational excellence
• Developing metrics and dashboards

Top Must Have:

Scripting (e.g. PowerShell), programming (e.g. Python, C#), SQL Server

Level of Experience Needed:

Minimum 5 years PowerShell, SQL Server
