Job Description:

  • The new contractor will be joining GMFR's Liquidity and Capital Reporting, Data, Technology and Analytics (RDTA) team. They will understand the fundamentals of an effective stress testing program and ensure BAC’s process helps us appropriately manage risk. As a Risk horizontal team, it is our role to ensure that all elements of the Liquidity Risk Policy related to stress testing operate effectively across horizontal and vertical coverage team, as well as Lines of Business, Front Line Units and Control Functions. Key components of the Liquidity Risk Management program include appropriate risk identification, inclusion of material risks in liquidity stress models and scenarios, review of stress results to understand shifts in drivers, and connectivity of stress results to the risk appetite and risk metrics. Primary function will be to address and maintain GMFR Liquidity Risk reporting enterprise data management standards. Activities will include; Identify all reports, processes, models, assets, and external data transmissions owned in Liquidity Risk, Perform a Gap Analysis across all data risks (Governance, Quality, Movement, Fit for Use), Review Data Domain Ownership for Liquidity Risk Limits and Metrics/Measures, Categorize and document all Capture, Use and EDT processes within the Single Process Inventory, Establish an ongoing governance process through existing/new routines which will document adherence to standards

  • Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.
  • 1-3 years of Risk Management or other experience in the Banking industry
  • Writes in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience
  • Strong analytical mindset and effective problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to extract, analyze, and merge data from disparate systems
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Python )
  • Strong personal drive, individual initiative, a sense of urgency, and responsiveness, with a desire to grow, learn, and take on increasing levels of responsibility
  • Demonstrates commitment to excellence by anticipating needs, mitigating risks and minimizing potential problems
  • Ability to multi-task with excellent time management skills, manage projects and pivot between tactical and strategic tasks
