Data Quality Monitoring Analyst (Closed)
SkillStorm is seeking a Data Quality Monitoring Analyst for our client in Jersey City, NJ. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.
Job Description:
- Product Manager
- Define, develop, and work with partners to publish data health metrics for key Risk Finance and Technology (RFT) reports
- In partnership with IT define, develop, and maintain Data Quality (DQ) dashboards
- Support all aspects of enterprise data health reporting requirements and metrics
- Serve as a thought leader in evaluating audience trends and optimization opportunities to drive growth and minimize risk
- Operations
- Manage monthly data review and any validation processes to ensure complete and timely reporting
- Perform data validation on data quality (DQ) breaches while creating effective and efficient processes to share results in a structured manner
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding all technology assets
- Participate in development and refinement of reporting at the enterprise-level
- Partner with DQ and Issue Management (IM) teams to ensure data breaks are root caused, tactically solutioned and escalated to appropriate IT teams to address
- Perform other duties and functions as assigned
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience with any combination of Data Visualization tools: Power BI, SQL Server, Tableau, Alteryx, or SharePoint Development
- 3+ years data management and/or product management experience
- Self-starter, able to work autonomously, with strong time management skills; efficient at multi-tasking and able to work under pressure to deliver multiple business demands on-time, to a high standard
- Excellent communication, presentation (both oral and written) & influencing skills - candidate will be dealing with stakeholders of varying degrees of seniority (up-to Managing Director level) across Finance, Risk, and Technology
- Ability to partner with senior managers and other stakeholders on projects in a multi-tiered and matrixed org model
- Experience producing PowerPoint presentations for senior audiences; candidate must have an eye for clean and artful design and presentations utilizing data visualization tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Talent for quickly learning new tasks
- Meticulous approach to work and strong attention to detail
