Data Consultant V (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Splunk Developer for our client in Charlotte, North Carolina OR Richmond, Virginia, OR Richardson, Texas. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

  • The Splunk developer will be responsible for delivering quality Splunk solutions, including building custom app functionalities and visualizations. The candidate is expected to have extensive experience with Splunk Search Processing Language and IT Service Intelligence.
  • Develop Splunk Use Cases, Dashboards, Alerts and Reports based on different sources of data, including databases.

Skills:

  • Decompose services, develop KPIs and configure different features of Splunk ITSI.
  • Configure Event Analytics and Multi-KPI alerts.
  • Knowledge of advanced Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL)
  • Knowledge of Regular Expression
  • Experience with Python/Java, HTML5, CSS and one or more JavaScript frameworks, preferably React
  • Experience with implementation of D3.js visualizations
  • Good understanding of KV Store and interactivity by using REST API
  • Good understanding of distributed Splunk infrastructure
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both written and oral, and an ability to communicate complex ideas to all levels of the business
  • Delivery focused
  • Working knowledge of Linux administration
