Data Analyst (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Data Analyst for our client in Pennington, NJ. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• This person will be responsible for driving Enterprise Global Records Management policy and standards down to approximately 500 applications in the two portfolios.

• Position Summary
• This role is the primary responsible for data retention activities in Risk / Finance Technology and Enterprise Architecture / Engineering portfolios.
• This person will be responsible for driving Enterprise Global Records Management policy and standards down to approximately 500 applications in the two portfolios. This role interacts with both LOB/FLU teams and Technical teams including application managers, development teams and architects. Additionally, this role has close interaction with the Global Records Management and Enterprise Data Management organizations.

Required Skills:

• Accountable for governing and driving data retention for RFT and EA&E Applications, including retention code assignment and data purge activities.
• Accountable for Records Management monthly report dissemination to RFT managers and senior leaders.
• Assisting RFT and EA&E technical teams with unstructured data management including design documents, testing documentation, and other technical project documentation
• Working with project managers and LOB/FLU teams to ensure proper retention in new and existing technical applications

Desired Skills:

• Minimum of 5+ years of data centric applications and data delivery projects
• Minimum of 5+ years in data governance including data risk management
• Must have exposure to data retention practices, including database backups and offsite archiving
• Must be able to operate in a multi workstream environment with multiple project teams executing simultaneously
• Must have working knowledge of BAC data governance processes, policies and standards
• Must have impeccable written and oral communication skills, down to technical documentation and blueprints
