Data Analyst (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Data Analyst for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Responsible for data analysis in the Global Financial Crimes environment. Work effectively in a fully mature agile team. Work closely with business partners to understand requirements and work with the upstream and downstream data teams to analyze and help design solutions to meet the business needs. Excellent SQL skills with good understanding of database and querying tools is a nice to have. Knowledge of Hadoop and Teradata platforms is a huge plus. Individual contributor role. Ability to partner with the multiple Technology and business teams to drive the analysis.

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of experience in a data analyst role.
• Strong Analytical skills
• Strong verbal and Written communication skills.
• Knowledge of SQL and database technologies.
• Creative individual with a track record of being resourceful and adaptive working as a team to address roadblocks and challenges.
• Exceptional intelligence and problem-solving skills.
• Well versed with agile methodology and processes
• Good people skills

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge and/or experience working within the Teradata, Hadoop or other big data distributed ecosystem
• BS/MS in Computer
