Data Analyst (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking an Oracle / SQL Developer for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Applies technical knowledge in determining end to end design requirements for large projects involving line of business, software/hardware developers and vendors in support of 14Q Stress Test initiatives.
• Works closely with business partners to define strategies for technical solutions, determine requirements, and develop functional designs based on the analysis of line of business needs, objectives, and existing systems infrastructure
• Perform in-depth data analysis activities and come up with low-level & high-level design strategies.
• Develop SQL scripts for various reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
• Collaborate with Data architects and other global team members in data analysis to build effective solutions

• Agile tools (Bitbucket)

Required Skills:

• Data mapping specification designs, Data feed specifications, Data analysis and data comparison
• Ability to connect the dots across various applications and business processes, document data flows and identify gaps
• 5+ years’ experience with data Analysis & various databases
• Ability to write and analyze complex queries, stored procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong PL/SQL skills
• Experience working in Agile/ scrum teams
• Work effectively within a fast-paced environment. Adapts quickly to change and prioritizes time effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy are essential, with excellent analytical/problem solving skills

Desired Skills:

• Broad and deep understanding of wholesale credit product information and related business processes (sales, underwriting, fulfillment, servicing, monitoring and supporting applications)
• 5-7 years data analysis experience; previous bank experience is a plus.
• Experience with enterprise provisioning standards, metadata and lineage, process controls and data quality are also beneficial.
• 14Q is needing to retain strong and strategic talent for 14Q CRE & CORP capabilities with bringing on long term Technical Analyst. Today this is a skill set gap where we have a lot of data analysts but limited technical analyst.
