Cyber Security Content Manager (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Cyber Security Content Manager for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

  • Gather documents in a central, accessible and secure location – possibly SharePoint.
  • Compile an inventory of our content and plan what will go into the library.
  • Tag content assets by Topic, Purpose, Asset Type, and Audience.
  • Establish version control and permission schemes.
  • “Weed” at least annually to identify assets that should be updated or retired.
  • Document rules and processes – someone needs to own, monitor and enforce them.
  • Catalogue content assets to make them discoverable by users.
  • Help create content assets, visuals, text. 
  • The Global Information Security Team is seeking a dynamic professional to apply strong organizational, project and communication skills to support the creation and development of a content library for Global Information Security. This role will be a core part of the Cyber Security Planning, Control and Governance team to create, manage and govern content. The candidate will work with key stakeholders and partners and be able to deliver to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner alongside members of cyber security planning, control and governance workforce to create and manage cyber security content to support senior leaders and stakeholders while delivering detail-accurate and quality content
  • Monitoring and maintaining end-to-end content workflows, and content processing systems
  • Build and maintain relationships with subject matter experts and stakeholders
  • Work closely with members of the Global Information Security organization to deliver content that is relevant and timely
  • Develop operational metrics for program updates to executive leadership
  • Identify and develop proposals for program and content improvement, developing materials to fill those gaps

Required Qualifications:

  • Experienced in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experienced in Microsoft Excel, formulas, pivot tables, charts, visualizations
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex information in an approachable manner
  • Professional writing experience of 3+ years’ experience
  • Excellent research skills
  • Basic understanding of cyber security and risk management fundamentals
  • Proven ability to work well in a team and across various stakeholder groups in a diverse environment
  • Experience using data and standard technology tools to drive sound decision making with strong analytical skills
  • Self-motivated and strong initiative: ability to operate independently
  • Innovative, fact-based and creative solutions-focused mindset, with ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree English, Communications or related field
  • Experience with PowerPoint, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat and InDesign
  • Familiarity with JIRA
