Change Manager (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Change Manager for our client in Charlotte, North Carolina. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

  • The Change manager for Financial Crimes Technology is focused on end-to-end management of scheduled and off-cycle releases ensuring ECM compliance. This individual focuses on the release co-ordination, release documentation, release preparation, and release verification. They will be the local point of contact and subject matter expert in enterprise change standards. They are expected to identify and develop ways to improve the quality, capability, or efficiency of the release process. We are looking for an individual contributor with strong hands-on experience in all aspects of release management.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
  • Weekly Release Reporting
  • Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required
  • Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities
  • Continually work towards making improvements in the release process
  • Maintain a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists
  • Conduct weekly governance review routines with the technical teams reviewing release status, quality, and changes to standards

Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in release management activity
  • 3-5 years of quality testing
  • Competent understanding of various SDLC methodologies from waterfall through agile
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills and excellent organization skills
  • Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, adapt to change, and effectively prioritize work to meet competing deadlines
  • Experience with onsite-offshore coordination
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
