Camunda Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Camunda Developer for our client in Charlotte, North Carolina. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

  • Camunda
  • Provide solution technology guidance for areas of concentration in the portfolio
  • Provide end-to-end design guidance, oversight and problem management
  • Provide oversight of requirements gathering and interpretation for all infrastructure impacts across the portfolio pipeline
  • Provide oversight of the requirements process on key projects by clarifying requirements where and when necessary, ensure all teams understand the business reasons for the requirements
  • Provide end-to-end design process guidance and oversight/provide guidance throughout the design process
  • Guide teams through design challenges where and when necessary
  • Provide oversight of design and implementation reviews, participate in, and lead as appropriate, design and implementation reviews during the lifecycle of a project for key business initiatives and core engineering projects before they go into production to ensure Operational Readiness
  • Review final target architecture and design
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies
  • Partner with architecture/development teams on business planning sessions
  • Provide reviews of existing solutions including tracking/remediating issues and gaps for resiliency, risk and performance
  • Provide technology guidance into strategic plans and business strategies
  • Ensure technology roadmaps align appropriately to business strategies and plans
  • Guide technology decisions to ensure that strategic plans converge across technology areas

Required Skills:

  • At least 10 years of hands-on experience in Software Development and at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in Camunda
  • Experience in setting up Camunda environment
  • Experience in defining the overall architecture, technology stack and implementation toplogies
  • At least 2 years of experience in Design and architecture review
  • Must have hands on work experience in workflow implementation using CAMUNDA BPMN processes implementation
  • Strong experience with Camunda version 7.x and Camunda Modeler 4.x
  • Strong knowledge of establishing best practices, design patterns, reusable components and frameworks using Camunda
  • Experience creating workflows as per business requirements in CAMUNDA using CAMUNDA modeler, also implementing workflow backend business logic in CAMUNDA listeners
  • Experience in implementing Camunda in Spring Boot
  • Experience in Camunda, LDAP Authentication, Timer Events, Message Events, Subflows and event-based transactions
  • Extensive hands-on work experience on JAVA, J2EE and Hibernate technologies
  • Experience in implementing application in Java using SpringBoot, Spring MVC etc
  • Experience in API implementation using RESTful and SOAP web services
  • Hands on experience in Struts, Spring and Spring Batch frame works
  • Hands on experience in using Tomcat and Jboss servers
  • Hands on experience in using Eclipse or IntelliJ
  • Hands on experience in version control using GIT
  • Hands on experience in java build tools like ANT and MAVEN
  • Experience in using unit test frameworks like JUnit, DBUnit and API Automation Test suite implementation
  • Experience in writing SQLs and stored procedures in databases like Oracle
  • Experience in Rapid Application Development Flavor Agile Methodology (Scrum, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming and Sprint Retrospective, etc.)
  • Experience in ‘Service Virtualization’ implementation for API testing
  • Experience in implementing CI/CD using Jenkins
  • Experience with Camunda Infrastructure Architecture
  • Deep understanding of Business Process Automation/Digital Process Automation and BPMN concepts/notations

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to work within Safe Agile (Scrum/Kanban) Concepts and ability to understand and work using CICD Technologies such as Ansible,Jenkins,Bitbucket, GitHub,XLR, SonarCube and Testing Automation Technologies such as Selenium, Tosca
  • Experience with Rally and JIRA tools is a plus
  • Camunda BPM Certification Preferred
  • BPMN certification is a plus
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to guide and mentor other Software Engineers
  • As a member of the COE, should be able to wear different hats and take on diverse assignments
