C# / SQL Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a C# / SQL Developer for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

  • Develops, designs, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions. This is a role capable of being an architect, engineer, designer, and developer supporting Legal technology solutions. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. May have responsibility for a project and project budget. May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from manager or other leads. Typically requires 5 years of experience.

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience C# or another OO language
  • 2+ years of MS SQL Server development experience
  • 2+ Working with GIT in a team environment
  • 2+ Working CI/CD tooling, preferred Jenkins
  • Experience with working CI/CD tooling, preferred Jenkins
  • Experience with Active Directory security management
  • Experience with Windows Server Administration
  • Ability to quickly analyze, design and develop Microsoft based applications to solve business needs
  • Able work in a team of local and remote developers working in a Scrum team(s)
  • Ability to build Windows services, WCF services, and web applications using C#
  • Knowledge of object oriented principles and design patterns
  • Able to build service oriented applications, n-tier architecture, web services, and consume web services
  • Ability to work directly with customers to develop requirements and design then deliver end to end solutions
  • Analyzes information and provides recommendations to address technical and business issues
  • Experience working with a team to build, test, and document application functionality
