C# / .NET Engineer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a C# / .NET Engineer for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining regulatory reporting applications for Balance Sheet Management technology within the Corporate Treasury. Software developers design, code, test, debug, support and document programs as well as support activities for the corporate systems architecture. Software engineers work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications. Individual contributor role. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience. Is clearly recognized as a content expert by peers and demonstrates proven track record of in-depth and hands-on software development.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following Skills And Experience:

  • A minimum of five (5) years experience working with C# .NET development (in new projects or significant feature enhancements, and not just L3 break-fix/maintenance).
  • A minimum of three (3) years experience working with WPF in recent jobs.
  • Experience with SQL Server 2014 or above.
  • Experience with Linux a plus, related to PuTTY terminal usage, navigation and bash scripting.
  • Experience using REST Web Services a plus.
  • SCRUM Agile environment experience a plus.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated and change-controlled environment is a plus.
  • Intermediate knowledge and skill set with database design, development and implementation a plus.
  • Intermediate knowledge and skill set with Blazor web design, development and implementation a plus.
  • Intermediate knowledge and skill set with unit test frameworks like Selenium or xUnit a plus.
