Business/Systems Analyst (Closed)
Our customer is seeking a Business/Systems Analyst who will be responsible for analysis, design, configuration and testing for internal operational applications within the specific operational groups.
Responsibilities:
· Utilizes a structured analysis and design techniques to formulate systems scope and objectives and provide solutions to business problems.
· Prepares detailed specifications from which programs or integrations will be written.
· Analyzes and solves existing systems logic difficulties. Provides development or rule definition for process activation and form creation, deployment and change management.
· Defines project objectives and gathers business/system requirements with users.
· Develops and documents design alternatives to satisfy user, business, statutory and system requirements. Presents alternatives to users and impacted areas to facilitate design decisions and gain consensus.
· Conducts structured analysis according to standardized procedures and prepares detailed analysis documents. These documents serve as input to the creation of program specifications, rule sets, test plans, user and system documentation.
· Conducts QA and testing of change requests and other projects as necessary, presenting final results to users and all impacted areas to obtain sign off.
· Designs and provides light development and rules administration within the COS Business Process Management Suite.
· Develops the preliminary design and acts as liaison to IT for integration with other applications or advanced development.
· Provides assistance to the IT organization by troubleshooting and resolving problems and explores opportunities for enhancement and improvement.
· Maintains a broad knowledge base encompassing the evolving ADP/COS internal operations application product set. Provides information and explanation to users and support functions within the ADP/COS environment.
· Participates in the development of schedules by providing estimates regarding individual analysis tasks. Assists management in project tracking by providing regular, comprehensive status reports on work progress, effort, etc. relative to strict project deadlines.
· Provides ad hoc reporting assistance as needed.
Qualifications:
· 4 years Systems Analyst Experience required |

· 6 years Analysis and design required · 3 years Other Pure Play BPM (Fuega, Lombardi, Metastorm, etc.) required |

· Good Communication and presentation skills required |

· BA/BS degree (major in Information Sciences) preferred |
|

· 3 years Sun Solaris preferred |
|
|||
· 2 years ASP and/or JSP Development preferred |
|
|||
· 2 years .Net and/or Java Servlet development preferred |
|
|||
· 3 years Oracle 9i+ and SQLServer 2003+ preferred |
|
|
||
· 1 year Savvion SBM (BPM) preferred |
