Business Process Analyst (Closed)
SkillStorm is seeking a Business Process Analyst for our client in Charlotte, NC OR Addison, TX. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.
Job Description:
- We'll look to you to interact directly with the customer, stakeholders, and subject matter resources to coordinate, validate and socialize in one or more areas of Governance & Oversight. Your responsibilities will also include to manage, assess, and implement changes to the related deliverables. You can expect to help our internal and external partners with technology-enabled Process Change to achieve their business objectives. Perform internal audits and analyze metrics to identify areas where current processes need to be optimized. Additionally, you will:
- Analyze and evaluate the current business processes Enterprise Data Protection and Privacy team has and identifying areas of improvement
- Documentation writing in support of systems and processes
- Develop analytical information and present results to stakeholders
- Look to optimize processes using Visio tool and work with stakeholders to handover
- Research and review up-to-date business processes and new IT advancements to make systems more modern
- Present ideas and findings in meetings
- Create initiatives depending on the business's requirements and needs
- Develop projects and monitoring project performance
- Collaborate with users and stakeholders
- Work closely with senior management and partners
- Support the development of Dashboards with exec. level reporting
- Work to develop and execute against internal audits
- Manage process change
- Lead process redesign workshops
- Educate business users responsible for managing and operating business processes
- Monitor, measure, and provide feedback on process performance
- Facilitate process workshops that involve eliciting process requirements and liaising with users
Required Skills:
- Experience working in Agile environments. Desirable to have an Agile certification
- Experience working with JIRA/Raleigh
- Desirable to have experience with Data Protection and Privacy experience
- Strong leadership skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of business process modelling notations (BPMN) to documenting processes.
- Stakeholder management, data modeling and knowledge of IT
- Ability to analyze large amounts of data and other business processes to form ideas and fix problems
- Ability to communicate ideas in an expressive way that is easy for the receiver to understand
- Experience coming up with solutions to an organization's problems
- Ability to research new processes and software to present results that are effective
- Ability to establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships
- Ability to create KPIs
- Ability to create innovative insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs, and contribute to thought leadership
- Anticipate and identify risks, and escalate any issues as appropriate
- Have an understanding of Business Intelligence platforms. Desirable to have Tableau, SQL experience
