SkillStorm is seeking a Business Analyst for our client in Pennington, NJ OR Charlotte, NC OR Jersey City, NJ. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

  • We are looking for a talented business analysts to work in the Enterprise Architecture & Engineering (EAE) organization, specifically on the RISE team. EAE is a growing department within the Global Technology division at Client that is responsible for:
  • Improving the experience for our developers, making it easier to deliver industry-leading solutions, while managing work efficiently and with the right controls
  • Advancing our technology platforms through innovation
  • Deliver the best digital experience for those managing the technology division
  • For our teammates and customers Drive accessibility of applications
  • Reducing risk and improving quality across our technology portfolio by aligning to a single enterprise architecture strategy and delivering governance that enables consistency, integration, and automation
  • Key responsibilities include working with enterprise-wide RISE users and stakeholders to understand their needs, capture their requirements, perform impact analysis, and then working closely with the Development Team(s) to refine the requirements into specifications that can be executed by the team. Working as part of global teams, we leverage a wide range of technologies, working on some of the most important projects in the bank. We work in an agile fashion and are always striving to improve our processes, putting a big emphasis on researching new technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Bi-Weekly Triage Meeting with POs, PM and stakeholder to review iRISE tickets and defect progress – occasionally may include end user to demo issue (if not able to replicate)
  • Monitor, address and assign iRISE tickets
  • Ad-hoc triage calls with end user to investigate issues
  • Work with technology to identify root causes of issues, then ensuring prioritization
  • Create and maintain defects of JIRA Prod Board
  • Update iRISE Defect List to mirror JIRA
  • Defect Testing – acceptance prior to release and post release validation
  • File Uploads – work with team to respond quickly to requests for file uploads to service mailbox (leave large uploads for offshore to do, non-peak hours)
  • Monitor slated work within JIRA to understand upcoming release items
  • Work with RISE POs, PM, SMEs and QA team to understand acceptance criteria including how to test
  • Coordinate with SMEs and delegates for QA access
  • Convey testing timeline, and set up as needed meetings to review found issues
  • Work with tech and data teams to provide resolution to found issues before code freeze, or:
  • Create defects or feedback stories where needed
  • Conduct post release validation and office hour calls to ensure newly released items and regression testing have been successful
  • InfoPath and SharePoint maintenance as needed, additions of new users

Desired Skills:

  • Agile Project Management experience/certifications
  • Pega or other workflow tool experience is a plus
  • SharePoint design/list experience
