Big Data Developer / Data Scientist (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Big Data Developer for our client in Addison, TX. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Required Skills:

• Experience building E2E Data Science using Streaming and Big Data platform
• Hands on experience on implementing CI/CD using the Atlassian ecosystem
• Extensive hands on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining software frameworks using Kafka, Spark, Hadoop/MR, H2O, Jupyter, Anaconda, Python, Spark Streaming etc.
• Experience building E2E ML pipelines: Data prep, Model Build, training models, Deployment, Scoring, Monitoring and optimization
• Experience with graph-based data workflows and working with graph analytics
• Good Knowledge of metadata management, data lineage, and principles of data governance
• Design and build and deploy streaming and batch data pipelines capable of processing and storing large datasets quickly and reliably using Kafka, Spark and YARN
• Strong understanding of OOP programming and architecture in either Java or Python
• Experience designing and building full stack solutions utilizing distributed computing or multi-node database paradigms
• Well versed with processing and deployment technologies such YARN, kubernetes/containers and serverless
• Hands one experience on Java, Scala or Python
