We are looking for talented RPA (Robotics Process Automation) professionals to be part of our Enterprise Architecture & Engineering (EAE) / Digital Process Automation COE team to enable, empower, and energize the enterprise to leverage RPA technology and complimentary products to increase efficiencies and create return on Investment by automating business processes.
  • This exciting position will be to serve in the Enterprise Robotic Process Automation Center of Excellence (RPA CoE). You will be responsible for the continued evolution and refinement of the end-to-end lifecycle and enterprise operating model including ideation, qualification, ROI assessment, development, governance, and drive adoption of intelligent automation solutions using RPA and other leading automation tools.? As a lead in the RPA CoE, you will guide the RPA roadmap as well as help shape emerging technologies in automation at Client.

Position Summary:

  • The Senior Automation Strategy Lead position will be responsible for the following:
  • Serve in a highly visible role of an enterprise RPA COE team, specializing in robotic process automation, process mining, intelligent automation, and complimentary products and platforms in the automation industry.
  • Manage RPA CoE program activities, governance processes, metrics and measurement to ensure best in class approach to solutions delivery.
  • Engage and help educate business and technology organizations in re-imagining processes utilizing RPA and automation technologies to create efficiency, avoid unnecessary costs, reduce/minimize human errors as well as reduce the mundane work done across the enterprise.
  • Play a key role in onboarding new automation technologies for process mining, intelligent document processing, intelligent automation, business intelligence & data mining; and help define the operating models for leveraging these emerging technologies, as well as the governance models to ensure risk alignment.
  • Provide guidance to clients on their technical and business strategy needs concerning automation platforms.
  • Individual contributor on a high-performance team built on trust and transparency. Primarily providing thought-leadership and guidance to clients on identifying automation use cases, designing solutions, complying with bank policies and standards.
  • Provides thought-leadership to fellow team members and business partners across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements.
  • Participate and provide guidance and approval in high level design reviews for candidate RPA use cases.
  • Provides technical guidance focused on multiple projects.
  • Act as the mentor to all team members on their assigned project tasks.
  • Build strong relationships and influence team members.

Required Skills:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or comparable technology degree.
  • Total IT experience – minimum of 5 years.
  • 2 years of experience in UiPath Robotic Process Automation platform and development.
  • Preferable Hands-On RPA tool experience using UiPath.
  • Individual contributor who is comfortable owning enterprise strategy deliverables that will enable and empower our clients and partners.
  • Specialized knowledge of financial industry.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills are required.
  • Creative and flexible in identifying technical solutions to resolve business problems in a rapidly changing, demanding and complex business environment.
  • Work with executive leadership from the line of business as well as technology partners across the organization to understand how to leverage the benefits of process automation, specifically regarding the current platforms we support.
  • Work closely with high level design reviews to provide guidance in implementing the enterprise RPA operating model to ensure compliance and alignment to risk policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Provide presentations on process automation trends and coordinate demos for our community of practice forums, historically attended by a membership of 600+ associates.
  • Help plan and coordinate internal bank automation summit conferences with our RPA vendor to provide strategic business and technology executives with presentations on emerging trends with the current platform. Also coordinate with internal bank strategic clients to present presentations and demos of their RPA solutions to show what is possible with this technology. Senior leaders will use the information presented and the follow-on discussions to inform their business and technology strategies for the upcoming quarters and year.
  • Participate in maintaining fresh content on our knowledge portal website along with other team members.
  • Provide leadership in performing market scans of specific products and vendors in the process automation domain and using the results of that exercise to perform product assessments of identified market leaders (this is more seasonal but pursued every two years since the RPA COE was established). This is a critical discipline to ensure we are leveraging best in class, market leading platforms.

Desired Skills:

  • High level communication skills and be able to produce documentation to a high standard.
  • Experience in working with matrix organizations and handling ambiguity and unstructured environment.
  • Solid understanding of the SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) and the requirement management lifecycle.
  • Experience working in Agile Framework.
  • Knowledge of Citrix environment with RPA Tools.
  • Knowledge of OCR libraries or tools (i.e., ABBYY Flexicapture, ABBYY Finereader, Tesseract, Microsoft MODI, etc.)
  • Exposure to Business Process Management (BPM) platforms (Pega, Appian, etc).
  • Exposure to DevOps (CI/CD) and collaborative tools (JIRA, Rally, BitBucket, GIT, Jenkins, MSBuild, etc).
  • Change and conflict management skills, ability to influence and negotiate with others to meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with business partners, team members and managers to develop solutions.
  • Strong background in business process design, continuous process improvement.
  • Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation and business process management.
  • Able to define conceptual strategy and break down into operational roles and responsibilities, resulting in an execution plan
  • Technical background in application development in any of the following: Java, .NET, C++; Machine Learning/Cognitive experience is a plus; working with relational database management systems.
  • Strong professional and communication skills (oral and written), working with senior management.
  • Understanding of financial forecasting, resource management, and project portfolio management.
