Kick off your software career with a company built to do exactly that.

SkillStorm prepares technology professionals for Fortune 100 enterprises and U.S. government agencies. You'll complete 12 weeks of paid, hands-on training, working on real team-based projects, and then deploy directly to an enterprise or government client, effective day one. You won't pay for this training. It's a paid position with a defined route from "qualified" to "deployed professional."

We're looking for people at the start of their technical careers, including recent graduates, career changers with a technical background, and transitioning service members and veterans, who have the fundamentals and the motivation and want a structured way into enterprise software work.

Are you eligible? You probably are if you meet the following:

    • A bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline (Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or similar)
    • At least 1 year of technical work experience

You'll also need a working knowledge of programming fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, databases and SQL, and software development in an object-oriented language such as Java or C#.

Every applicant who meets one of those paths gets an individual review for fit. If you're unsure whether you qualify, apply anyway. That decision is ours to make, so don't screen yourself out.

You'll stand out if you bring:

    • Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills
    • Clear written and verbal communication with teammates and stakeholders
    • The ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance
    • Openness to relocating for a client placement
    • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on SkillStorm's W2 (no C2C arrangements)

Veterans and transitioning service members: Structured training, a clear mission, clearance-eligible work, and relocation support. This model matches how you already work, and we actively want you in this pipeline.

Your work after deployment:

    • Develop and improve applications using your client's languages, frameworks, and tools
    • Produce clean, efficient, well-organized code that meets professional standards
    • Troubleshoot and resolve defects; deliver technical support and solutions
    • Take part in code reviews, both offering and receiving constructive feedback
    • Work with stakeholders to turn business requirements into technical specifications
    • Assist with testing and production deployments; keep technical documentation current
    • Stay up to date on industry tools and techniques through continuous training

Why candidates pick SkillStorm:

    • Competitive salary: you're paid from day one, not funding your own training
    • Enterprise-level technology training and certifications
    • Assignments with Fortune 100 companies and government agencies
    • Health, vision, dental, and life insurance, plus a 401(k)

Ongoing mentorship and support through training and placement
