SkillStorm is seeking an Oracle Developer for our client in Jersey City, New Jersey. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

• Compliance Technology require a senior programmer with strong Oracle PLSQL, and UNIX Shell Scripting experience who will be responsible for supporting a legacy system and design/develop new enhancements on an existing applications. Candidate should be fully competent to work under general direction on complex projects that have an assigned goal and should be able to proactively work with senior associates and manager as required. Knowledge of Compliance processes or investment banking experience is desirable.

Required Skills:

• 7 plus years of writing optimized SQL and PLSQL code in Oracle database. Ability to use UNIX shell scripting extensively to invoke Oracle database procedures and packages, and other utilities including Informatica
• 5 plus years of UNIX programming experience specifically shell scripting in Linux environment. Ability to use tools such as awk, sed, grep and other UNIX utilities
• 3 plus years of experience with scheduler such as AUTOSYS
• 5 plus years of experience in IT industry, preferably in a financial industries
• Must have experience with Data Quality measurement/Scorecards, Control, & Remediation along with Data reconciliation technics
• Familiar with Data Governance process (Identifying critical data elements, metadata, data lineage, data dictionary, data model, Data Sharing Agreement, Service Level Agreement, Data Management Standards) is a must
• Participates in design, development review and implementation of deliverables
• Experience in performance tuning of a multi-terabyte data warehouse production environment is desirable
• Experience working as part of an Agile team and using Agile SDLC tools (Jira, etc.) is required
• Candidate must be a strong team player/lead with good communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and enjoys solving complex technical problems.
• Should be self-motivated and proactive.
• Highly organized and works well under tight timelines
• 5 years of Hands on Experience in developing Informatica mappings & workflows is required
