SkillStorm is seeking a SQL Developer / Data Architect for our client in Jersey City, New Jersey. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

• The Cleared Derivatives Risk Technology (CDRT) team has an opportunity for a SQL Developer/Data Architect. This role will participate in the design, development, and support of our Data Management solution for the Listed Futures & Options Platform. The team operates in a lean agile manner and engages closely with business partners to provide solutions for the Client’s Securities Clearing Franchise.

Required Skills:

• Strong Analytical and Sql/Database Design and Programming skills.
• Familiar with ETL strategies.
• Experience with GMI, RPGLE, Back office Clearing of Exchange Traded Derivatives.
• Ability to adopt and leverage an N-Tier Component Based Architecture.
• Comfortable with an Event Based Paradigm, Multithreading, and Asynchronous concepts.
• Experience with Pub/Sub and Queue Messaging Systems (AMPS preferred).
• Eager and willing to learn the business and existing systems.
• Track record of taking ownership and driving projects to completion.
• Proven ability to work within a team with good interpersonal communication skills.
• Python 3.x, or eager to learn.
• Minimum of 10 years hands-on development experience.
• A degree in computer science or a related field.

• Oracle and DB2 sql.
• Quartz Stack – HUGS, Sandra.
• JSON, Restful Services.
• Mongo DB, Hadoop, Data Lake
