Application / Production Support (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking an Application / Production Support Specialist for our client in Charlotte, North Carolina. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

• Resource will be part of AMRS support for DreamX. Resource will cover the weekday (M-F) support requirement as well as become SME for for DreamX support in AMRS. This is a new application

Primary Skill:

• UNIX/SHELL SCRIPTS

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in development or production support
• 3+ years in following: Oracle Database (SQL), J2EE , UNIX, Informatica
• Ability to solve production down situations under tight SLA deadlines, including root cause and problem resolution follow-up
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, including the ability to organize time, work on multiple tasks, and follow tasks and projects through to completion, while keeping all interested parties properly updated.
