Application Manager (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking an Application Manager for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

  • Delivers end-to-end Treasury technology solutions in a robust, stable operating environment to drive business growth for our commercial, corporate, investment banking and global markets clients. Supports clients through the product lifecycle including internal sales support, fulfillment of products and customer interfacing channels in fulfilling Cash Management, Payments, Payables, Lockbox, Card and Trade & Supply Chain Finance needs globally across the US, EMEA, APAC, Canada and LatAm regions. Also delivers world-class solutions for regulatory technology related to Anti–Money Laundering, Know-Your-Customer onboarding and Tax onboarding, refresh and closure for internal and external clients.

Role Overview / Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the full portfolio of application data / information and ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the technology platform meet compliance and service level objectives for one or more applications
  • Manages applications in compliance with applicable bank policies and standards and meet the objectives and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) required of the function it supports.
  • Accountabilities include (but are not limited to) application access reviews, GIS security remediation, audits, software license management required by applications, not permitted technology remediation and support/facilitation of recovery planning and tests
  • Some activities, such as remediation, may require the incumbent to act as Project Manager depending on scope/magnitude of effort
  • Relied on to best answer questions about technology used within the application and development activities. As one of the application’s primary technical contacts, s/he must assist with technology incident resolution by providing technical details, usage, dependencies, and lead recovery if necessary
  • Responsible for the relationship/account management of a client/business area in all information technology activities
  • Will work closely with support and vendor management partners to provide technical direction as necessary to ensure the vendor’s application meets the Bank’s objectives, SLA’s, and that all applicable information about the application is correct.

Required Skills:

  • 5-10+ years in Technology industry
  • 3-5 years hands-on experience in installing patches, maintaining, troubleshoot and testing SWIFT products: SWIFT Alliance Gateway, SWIFT Alliance Access, SWIFT Web Platform, SWIFT Net Link
  • Able to demonstrate a knowledge of all SWIFT messaging formats
  • Demonstrated experience in SWIFT protocols
  • Strong communication skills: written, verbal, visual presentations, and effective listening skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior managers
  • Ability and desire to think creatively to deliver business results both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to influence others

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Alliance Messaging Hub a plus
  • Good understanding of the SDLC lifecycle
  • Experience with SWIFT Hardware Security Modules
