Application Architect V (Closed)
SkillStorm is seeking a Full Stack .NET Engineer for our client in Richardson, Texas. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.
Description:
- We are looking for a creative, seasoned, full-stack web engineer to build out and manage new applications using the latest standards, methodologies and frameworks. Successful candidates will have a minimum of three years’ recent experience with the required skills listed below, with at least 10 years in overall IT experience.
The Engineer Will be Expected to:
- Be comfortable with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries
- Understand and convert macro level requirements into actionable tasks
- Understand the continuous integration and continuous deployment lifecycle
- Understand threat modeling concepts and how to implement them
- Understand accessibility standards and how to implement them
- Adhere to Enterprise Data Management Standards
- Design and implement the overall web architecture
- At least three years’ experience with:
- Angular
- Relevant back-end programming languages (C#)
- Writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Being up on latest practices is a must, e.g., HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript 6 (minimum)
- Experience with .NET Framework 4+ (and/or experience with .NET Core)
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC
- Familiarity with a relevant and globally supported framework—both front-end and back-end, if necessary (e.g., React )
- Thorough understanding of user experience and possibly even product strategy
- Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests
- Fundamental knowledge of IT Service Management/ITIL processes and tools
- Proficiency with Git
Desired Skills:
- Experience working in a leadership capacity
- REST API connectivity programming concepts
- WCF and/or Web Services
- Ajax fundamentals
- Proficiency with IIS 7.0 or greater
- Appreciation for clean and well documented code
- Experience with mobile responsive designs
- Experience with Material, Bootstrap or Telerik Components
