  • Solution Architect For Performance / Capacity Mgmt

Job Description:

  • Responsible for contributing to developing and updating performance/capacity test strategy
  • Defining performance/capacity requirements, quality requirements, SLAs, scalability and resiliency criteria ; ability to identify critical business processes with areas of performance/capacity concern
  • Ability to evaluate performance/capacity risk associated with application or infrastructure changes
  • Ability to communicate performance/capacity risks and mitigation plans to management, product managers/architects
  • Provide technical leadership to performance/capacity testing resources
  • Requires cross-functional collaboration skills in interfacing with software architects, product leads, software developers and infrastructure engineers
  • Ability to evaluate and leverage application architectural diagrams for analyzing the application changes and defining the appropriate testing approach
  • Partner with application and infrastructure teams on test environment specifications and readiness for testing
  • Ability to drive technical issues and influence decisions at the organizational level
  • Create/update workflow tools and tracking of project deliverables
  • Develop technical documents to ensure traceability, quality, and completeness of the testing process
  • Ability to communicate issues and trade-offs with management
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a strong multi-disciplined team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the solution and exploration of solution alternatives with focus on Resiliency attributes
  • Collaborate in Architectural Runway and its technical impact in support of Features and Capabilities with Product and Solution Management to determine the performance and capacity impact
  • Understand solution deployment, and communicate resiliency NFRs with stakeholders (App Architects, Chief Engineers etc.)
  • Participate in validating/analyzing the impact of design decisions Work with portfolio stakeholders in Program Increment (PI) Planning and Pre- and Post-PI Planning, System and Solution Demos etc.

Required:

  • Performance/capacity engineering experience at the architect level
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with performance/capacity testing tools such as Performance Center, HP load runner, or Jmeter,
  • Agile Architecture and SDLC experience
  • DevOps savvy
  • Lean Agile Methodology
  • Enterprise/Solution Architecture @ Portfolio/Solution Layer in Scaled Agile Framework

Desired:

  • Familiarity with App Dynamics, Dynatrace and Splunk
  • Prior Bank Experience in an architecture role
  • Working Experience with Application Profiling and Budgeting
  • Have background experience in scripting/execution and analysis with Load Runner/Performance center
  • Have background experience in creating performance model and scenarios for performance execution
  • Have background experience in creating and executing performance test(s) using Load Runner/performance center
  • Have background experience in analyzing performance/capacity test results to identify potential bottlenecks or performance/capacity issues
