SkillStorm is seeking a .NET / SQL Developer for our Client in Charlotte, North Carolina. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

  • We are looking for a highly motivated developer to join the remote deposits development team. This person must have strong software development skills (.NET, SQL Server, Web Services), batch processing experience and devops knowledge. This position supports the 24x7 mobile check deposit back end application, which processes over 600k transactions per day and over 100MM transactions a year. The person must have thorough understanding of government check processing regulations (REGCC and ANSI), Optical Character Recognition technologies and ability to develop strong interfaces with upstream and downstream systems.
  • This developer will sit in an agile space and collaborate with other MRD developers, as well as other members of the Check Train. Additionally, consistent interactions with business, technology and production support are required. Strong interpersonal skills are a must.

Responsibilities Would Include:

  • software development design, coding, configurations and deployment.
  • Knowledge of vendor application support is desired.

A developer on the MRD team must:

  • be highly knowledgeable in C#, SQL, Tableau, web API, SOAP, SVN, Repliweb, Jenkins, Bitbucket, active directory, SQL Clustering, SQL Replication, load balancers, VIPs, WIPs, SSL, Log4NET, RAID structures, Windows IIS, Windows permissions, SOAPUI, ASP.NET ,front end and back end development
  • maintain highly complex proprietary replication, partitioning and purging processes
  • understand ANSI X9 standards and how the standards apply to software development
  • knowledgeable of RegCC standards and requirements
  • proficiency in developing software to support business requirements for maintaining customers’ monthly velocity limits and special handling based on check MICR details
  • develop and support web services to support deposit traffic volumes in the millions per day
  • ability to support and manage vendor code

Desired skills:

  • Experience in fraud detection and analysis
  • Thorough understanding of different application resiliency topologies
  • Thorough understanding of optical character recognition platforms and algorithms
  • ability to integrate in house developed software with vendor products
  • Experience in enterprise agile development methodologies (SAFE)
  • DevOps experience with Horizon platform
